(1)
a. John has talked about the political problem.
b. The political problem has been talked about.
(2)
a. John has arrived at the station.
b. *The station has been arrived at.
(3)
a. John [[has talked about] the political problem].
b. John [[has arrived] at the station]].
(4)
a. *The house has been alighted on by the bird.
b. The tree has been alighted on by the bird.
(5)
a. *This bridge has been walked under by my dog.
b. This bridge has been walked under by generations of US presidents.
