(1)
a. John was happy.
b. John walked in the park.
c. John ate a pie.
d. John recognized his old friend.
e. John blinked.

(2)
a. -change, +duration, -bound
b. +change, +duration, -bound
c. +change, +duration, +bound
d. +change, -duration, +bound
e. +change, -duration, +bound, +moment

(3)
a. #John was happy in a day.
b. #John walked in the park in a day.
c. John ate a pie in a day.
d. John recognized his old friend in a day.
e. #John blinked in a day.

(4)
a. John will be happy in a day.
b. John will walk in the park in a day.
c. John will eat a pie in a day.
d. John will recognize his old friend in a day.
e. John will blink in a day.

(5)
a. John was happy for two days.
b. John walked in the park for two days.
c. #John ate a pie for two days.
d. #John recognized his old friend for two days.
e. #John blinked for two days.
